The Anara Tower offers 125 storeys of mixed-use development, incorporating vertically-stacked communities in a very distinctive architectural statement.
The V-shaped plan gives most of the apartments direct sea views, but it is also a response to comprehensive aerodynamic studies. Careful development of the plan has produced a form which is remarkably resistant to oscillation: whereas other tall structures are designed absorb aerodynamic stress through flexing, Anara Tower stands stationary while the wind moves around it, making life very much more comfortable for its motion-sensitive occupants. That stability also enables the tower to rise without tapering, which makes the upper floors extremely efficient and attractive selling propositions, a particular requirement of the brief for this project.
The building incorporates a stack of three ‘vertical villages’, above 12 storeys of branded apartments, eight floors of offices, seven hotel floors and a car park at podium level. A community of penthouses is based at the fourth and highest sky garden, topped by a palace apartment and an amazing sky pod restaurant.
