Other Projects :
There are two design proposals for this residential tower – one is inspired by abstract compositions such a Mondrian’s cubist artworks and the other by the fluidity of light reflecting from the surface of the water.
The façade treatment for the first option frames the incredible views of Dubai Marina while also offering shade and privacy for the residents. The façade design also allows the maximum planning flexibility as the glass can be adjusted according the planning requirements of a particular unit.
The building is intersected by a central block optimised for units that have larger balcony offerings. A multitude of different typologies allow an enhanced community lifestyle for the building’s users.
In the second option, the design presents a unique interplay of architecture, material and light. As a simple extruded tower footprint, the project is extremely simple and cost effective to plan.
However, a rich visual and spatial variety can be achieved in the subtle ripple of the balcony edges which allows the building to take on its fluid characteristics. The fluidity is continued into the podium where the same sinuous curves are implemented in the balconies of the villa unit and the promenade retail below.
The 50 storey tower comprises a mix of studio, one-, two and three-bedroom apartments and high-end penthouses and villas on the podium level.
