The 402m high Dubai International Financial Centre Lighthouse Tower provides 90,000 m2 of A-grade office space in Dubai’s financial heart for the organisation that serves the region between Western Europe and East Asia.

The tower’s extraordinary design has produced a building that not only extends the architectural context of the existing precinct, but also expresses DIFC’s new prominence in the form of a tall and progressive building on Dubai’s skyline.

DIFC Lighthouse Tower slots into the rectilinear cityscape of the DIFC precinct, balancing and complementing the Emirates Towers that sit on the opposite side of the district’s centrepiece, The Gate building. The tower’s structural bracing, which connects the two cores, reinvents The Gate’s diagonal motif as a combination of both mashrabiya and the DIFC logo, illuminated by over 6,000 LEDs in a filigree of light against the night sky.
