Our in-house engineering team provides state-of-the art structural options to support the vision of architecture designs by developing clear structural forms from first principle as well as employing sophisticated parametric modelling. We work very closely with the architecture team and consultants of other key disciplines to develop a well-coordinated design from an early project phase.
We start the process with an open mind to allow consideration of different building materials paired with several possible structural systems to derive the most suitable combination of materiality, lateral and gravity system, buildability and cost efficiency.
Our highly qualified engineers are well versed in the analysis of structural options, the design of concrete, steel, glass and polymers and can draw on their experience of international standards, local interpretation and application as well as practical engineering knowledge from construction reality.
For some of our projects we engage leading and trusted external engineering partners in which case our in-house team provides a high-level overview and link between our architects, the local authority and the engineering partner.
