Inspired by the guiding stars that once led travellers across desert landscapes, the tower is conceived as a contemporary landmark for Baku, expressing aspiration, creativity, and progress. More than a singular object, the building is envisioned as a point of orientation within the wider Sea Breeze development and as a civic marker that reflects the city’s evolving global identity.

Situated along the Caspian coastline, Baku occupies a unique geographical position, lying approximately 28 metres below sea level. As Azerbaijan’s scientific, cultural, and industrial heart, the city has undergone rapid transformation in recent decades and has emerged as a destination for international events, cultural exchange, and ambitious urban growth. This momentum forms the backdrop against which the tower asserts its presence.

Baku’s climate, defined by hot, humid summers, cool winters, and persistent winds, has been a critical driver of the architectural response. The tower engages directly with these environmental forces, shaping both its form and performance. In doing so, it contributes a bold yet contextual addition to the skyline, responding to the city’s coastal conditions while embodying the spirit of innovation shaping Baku’s future.
